The Herald of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine (Herald of NAES of Ukraine) is an open-access online-only semiannual scientific journal devoted to promoting the development of scientific potential in the field of education, pedagogy, and psychology, integration of the Ukrainian pedagogical and psychological science into the world education and research area, and in-depth enlightenment of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine activities.
It was founded in 2019 by the Decree No 1-2/8-219 of the Presidium of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine on September 19, 2019.
In 2024, the Herald of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine was registered as an online media in the Register of Media Entities R40-02541 (Decision of the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine on 18 January 2024, No. 152).

Publication frequency: 2 issues a year. The materials within issues are published continuously until July 1 (the 1st issue) and until December 31 (the 2nd issue).
Audience: The Herald of NAES of Ukraine is targeted at educators, researchers, government, business, society as a whole, and a wide range of people interested in modernization and world and European integration of the Ukrainian education and research areas, increasing their global competitiveness.

The issue contains publications highlighting the activities of the National Academy of Educational Sciences (NAES) of Ukraine, its research institutions, and its higher education institution in the second half of 2026. In particular, it presents the results of scientific reports by researchers from research institutions and members (full members and corresponding members) of the NAES of Ukraine at the General Meeting of the NAES of Ukraine on ‘Psychology in Ukraine: Current State, Challenges, and Development Prospects’ (20 November 2026); the methodological seminar of the NAES of Ukraine on ‘Methodology for Assessing Learning Outcomes in the Context of Implementing State Standards for General Secondary Education’ (19 November 2026); key presentations by scholars at meetings of the Presidium of the NAES of Ukraine in the second half of 2026; the outcomes of the implementation in 2026 and overall of the Joint Activity Programme of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the NAES of Ukraine for 2024–2026; and the implementation in 2026 of the Joint Activity Programme of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the NAES of Ukraine for 2026–2028.
The issue covers information and analytical materials based on the findings of research conducted by the Academy’s scholars. Specifically, it details the implementation and integration of the following research projects: ‘Educational Libraries as Agents in Designing the Educational Environment in the Context of Digitalisation’ (2023–2025), carried out at the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine; and ‘Scientific and Methodological Support for Psychological Education of the Ukrainian Population Experiencing War Trauma’, conducted at the Institute of Social and Political Psychology of the NAES of Ukraine. Furthermore, it outlines the implementation in 2026 of the Action Plan of the NAES of Ukraine regarding the Concept of Civic Education in Ukraine until 2030, alongside other prominent events for the NAES of Ukraine and the public, scientific and practical events held from August to December 2026, and research findings by young scientists.
